One of the originals of Persian pop music, Shahram Shabpareh, will be releasing a upbeat, new dance remix of his classic hit track "Khaab" soon! Shahram recently released his latest album Taar Taa Geetaar, earlier this year and it became a sensation with many hit music videos on Radio Javan. Long-time Shahram collaborator Ramon has arranged and created this new official remix!

For the very first time working with Avang Music, Aref will be releasing his new music video "Aramesh". It is also actually Aref's first new song in many years. One of the true legends of Persian music, Aref has worked with director and video producer Siros Kerdouni for the music video for "Aramesh".

Last Thursday night, November 8th, over 250 guests attended the Adopt the Arts "Save the Arts" Fundraiser, featuring live performances by Christina Perri, America and Sussan Deyhim. The live auction was a lively success. A Slash signed guitar went for $5k, and ZZ Top and Aerosmith guitars went for $4k each.
The auction also featured art by photographers Neal Preston and Danish Saroee, and prints by Shepard Fairey. Three schools were adopted that night, including one by Asa Soltan Rahmati ("Shahs of Sunset"). They are still tallying the totals, but there was a significant amount raised that will help keep arts education in a number of LAUSD elementary schools for this next year.
Guests in attendance included: newly appointed International Arts Ambassador Bita Daryabari (founder and executive director, Pars Equality Center); Matt Sorum (Chair/co-founder, drummer of Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver), Abby Berman (co-founder), Adrianne Zarnegin (The Peninsula), Deborah Anderson (photographer/multimedia artist), and Johnathon Schaech (actor, “That Thing You Do”); as well as performers America (“Horse with No Name”); Christina Perri (“Jar of Hearts”); and Sussan Deyhim (“Argo” Score). Other talent will include: actor/dancer Chris Judd; Shaun Toub (“Iron Man,” “Crash”); Navid Negahban (actor, “Homeland”); Omid Abtahi (actor, "The Last Resort"); Maz Jobrani (comedian) and Asa Soltan Rahmati (“Shahs of Sunset”).

Siavash Shams was one of the few selected artists who performed at the new musical 'Loving The Silent Tears' on October 27th, 2012 at the Shrine Auditorium. It included Grammy winner
Jody Watley and 2-time Grammy winner Jon Secada. Many people wrote raving reviews and the cast received many standing ovations. Siavash sang throughout the show but his main piece he sang in Farsi and English with award winning Israeli singer Liel Kolet and Lebanese singer Camille Abou. Siavash co-wrote that piece, called "Truth, Ego,
Blessings", with Emmy winner Doug Katsaros. It was the hit of the show. In the end, the event gave $300,000 to three different charities.
Sohrab Pakzad performed live on November 11th, 2012 at the Tehran International Exhibition (Milad Hall) after 16 months. During the performance of "In Che Hesieh" he asked all 2,200 audience to call their loved one so 4,400 people can hear the song and sing together.
